Strikes by St. Noa’s Nancy Wandera, Brenda Nassaka and MVP Imelda Kasemire put defending champions Kawempe Muslim to the sword to claim girls’ football title. St. Noa is the new Elite Queen!

Heading into the final, Kawempe were yet to concede a goal heading into the final whereas St. Noa were ruthless and clinical in front of goal.
In the bid to dethrone holders Kawempe, St.Noa’s attackers were always going to be the key to guiding them through their ambitions.
Kawempe’s shot stopper Haira Nabbosa misjudged a shot from Nancy Mandera which gifted St. Noa a lead inside the opening ten minutes of the game.

This set the pace of the game with Kawempe pushing hard to level matters. This however didn’t materialize as Brenda Nassaka thought otherwise shooting from close range after Kawempe defence failed to clear their line.
Kawempe displayed a much improved display in the second period but St. Noa stood strong.
Elite Games MVP, Captain Imelda Kasemire put the icing on the cake as she beautifully grabbed their third on the day to push the game beyond reach for Kawempe.
In the classification fixture, Uganda Martyrs High School beat Boni Consili 2-1 to settle for a bronze medal .
