The 2025 Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) Ball Games one have reached the semi-final stage.
The quarter final round was played on Sunday, May 11, 2025 with four matches, as well as the rest of the classification duels.
On colour St Noa Girls Zana, holders Kawempe Muslim SS, Boni-Consili Vocational and Amus College are the final four standing semi-finalists.
At the AMUS College 1 playground, Kawempe Muslim SS beat fellow Kampala zone representative Uganda Martyrs High School 2-1.
On the main stadium, a dominant St Noa Girls Zana team obliterated Bugisu zone representative Nkoma SS 5-1.
Slyvia Kabene and Sumaya Nalumu each had a brace with Winnie Kabowe adding another goal.
Grace Aroma got the consolation for Nkoma SS.
“It was a commanding performance and we are not yet done. We need the trophy” Jimmy Mwera, head coach of St Noa Girls Zana noted.
Amus college School bundled out Nyabibare Girls SS 3-0 with Faith Akol, Edna Wanda and Eunice Naboyi all on target.
“We approached the match maturely and we need to be more cautious in the semi-final” Frank Anyau, head coach of Amus College remarked after the game.
Meanwhile, Isingiro district’s Boni Consilli Girls Vocational School convincingly beat Standard High School Zana 3-0.
Rinah Ariho and Biba Neghamba were both on target for the Ankole zone school.
The semi-finals will be played on Monday, 12th May 2025 and the fixture reads St Noa against Boni Consil Girls Vocational as Kawempe Muslim squares against Amus College.
The final shall be played on Tuesday, 13th May 2025.
