The 2025 edition of Ball Games II came to a close, one that had a record 18 Sports disciplines with futsal debuting, softball and baseball and gymnastics having demonstrations.
In a bid to promote mass sport, the disciplines are increasing with each year to give more students chance to participate.
Notable winners
Buddo SS won netball gold halting St. Mary’s Kitende dominance while Hamdan Islamic qualified for FEASSA Games having made it to the last four.
Beach soccer debutant Kawempe Muslim girls team dethroned Standard High Zzana with also Agnes Nabukenya scooping the MVP accolade.
In Girls under 16, Rines SS beat Kawempe Muslim to take home the coveted trophy, Boni Consili failed to live up to the billing at this year’s edition.
St. Mary’s Kitende won the CAF U-15 Boys Football trophy for a third straight time while Kawempe Muslim take the mantle this year from St. Noa Girls’ School.
