The first batch of the team that represented Uganda at the ISF Football World Cup 2024 in Dalian China has safely returned.

Team Uganda that comprised of four football teams that is Amus College (boys and girls), St. Mary’s College Kisubi and Bukedea Comprehensive School has been in Dalian City for close to a fortnight to compete in the Football World Cup.
Amus College School (boys and girls) and St. Mary’s College Kisubi have been warmly welcomed at the airdrome by the respective school officials and parents.

Amus’ Edna Wanda emerged top scorer at the tourney in girls football category.

Later, The World Cup silver medalists Amus College School boys returned in even much glory as they finished second out of the 36 teams that participated in this year’s world cup where they narrowly lost to China in spot kicks.
This batch also included officials that is The Minister Education and Sports (Sports) Hon. Peter Ogwang, Patrick Okanya who was leader of Delegation and other USSSA officials.
Meanwhile, bronze medalists Bukedea Comprehensive School will return on Wednesday 29th as the last part of team Uganda.
