Sheema Girls triumphed over Sacred Heart SSS Gulu girls team after a narrow 1-0 win. In the fight for positions 5 – 8 the win takes Sheema Girls to compete for 5/6th place while Sacred Heart can only fight for 7/8th position.
Daniela Ahumuza strike in the 13th minute gave Sheema Girls’ School a lead which they fought tooth and nail to preserve for the remaining minutes of the first period.
The second half was a much balanced end to end action packed as either side pushed for a goal. Neither of the two was able to utilize the clear cut chances they managed with Sheema Girls denied by the wood work on two occasions while Sacred Heart often lacked the final pass.
Sheema Girls’ School will play the winner between Uganda Martyrs High School Lubaga and Boni Consili Girls’ School for 5/6th place.
Meanwhile Sacred Heart SSS Gulu will play the loser of the two for the 7/8th position.
