As the FEASSA Games 2024 reach their climax, the stakes are high for the teams vying for a spot in the semi-finals. Here’s a breakdown of what each team needs to advance:

St Mary’s Kitende
Defending champions St Mary’s Boarding School Kitende require just a point to secure their semi-final spot, but a win would guarantee them the top position.

Bukedea Comprehensive School
Hosts Bukedea Comprehensive find themselves in a precarious position, needing a win to stay in contention. However, their fate also depends on St Mary’s Kitende defeating St Joseph’s Kitale, who currently occupies the second spot.

Amus College
Amus College is in a relatively safer position, needing only a point to book their semi-final slot. However, a win and a favorable result in the Musingu game could propel them to the top spot.

St Julian High School
Uganda’s champions had a promising start, but their knockout stage hopes were dashed after a loss in their recent game against Amus College

What every team needs to qualify for semi finals

St Noa Girls
The St Noa Girls Football team requires a point from their game to secure a semi-final slot. A loss coupled with a heavy win for Nyakach Girls, St Joseph Kitale, or Kawempe Muslim will see them eliminated.

Kawempe Muslim Secondary School
The defending champions are on the verge of elimination if they fail to win today’s game with a significant goal difference.

Amus College
Anything short of a win will see co-hosts Amus College ousted from the championship.

Rines SS
Uganda’s runners-up, Rines, are not yet out of contention. They must win with a substantial goal difference to stay in the running.
