FEASSA Games 2024 Boys’ Football Final

Full Time

Amus College 1-0 St Mary’s Kitende

To reach finals, Amus beat Bukedea Comprehensive School 2-0 while St Mary’s Kitende beat Musingu Secondary School from Kenya 1-0 on Sunday evening.

It was a historical evening for Amus College after winning their first ever FEASSA boys’ football trophy after falling short on final last year.

Amus College beat St Mary’s Kitende 1-0 to win it’s first ever FEASSA Games Boys’ Football trophy in a game that was played at a fully packed Amus College Stadium yesterday afternoon.

Abdu Razak Muzamir netted the only goal in the 47th minute to bring crowds off their feet. It later turned to be the winning goal after 80 minutes of play.

Amus College’s danger man Bashir Mansoor was voted the most valuable player of the FEASSA boys football category

This was a repeat of last year’s final though the results were the other way as Kitende beat Amus 4-2 on penalties after a one all draw.

St Mary’s Kitende has failed to beat Amus College this year following two successive defeats. Earlier this year, Amus knocked Kitende out of the USSSA National Football Championship after a 10-9 penalty shootouts win in the semi finals.

Amus has won the title unbeaten, conceded 3 goals, registered 3 wins and one draw while the runners up Kitende lost one game, drew one, conceded one goal and won 4 matches
