Schools and Officials Banned Following Rule Violations at USSSA Ball Games II and Mind Games

In a decisive action following serious violations of match schedules during the USSSA Ball Games II and Mind Games, held at Teso College Aloet, Soroti City from 1st to 6th September 2024, Royal Giant High School and St. Andrews High School Gombe have been dismissed and officially banned from future participation.

In addition, six team officials from both schools face the same sanctions, with strict instructions for the schools to exclude these individuals from all school sports activities during the period of the ban.

The following officials have been banned:

From Royal Giant High School:

  • Mulindwa Frank – Head Coach
  • Mutebi Tonny – Assistant Coach
  • Jjuko Godfrey – Goalkeeping Coach

From St. Andrews High School Gombe:

  • Kireewa Maato – Head Coach
  • Mwanje Gerald – Assistant Coach
  • Masembe Adam – Goalkeeping Coach

The disciplinary committee referenced violations under USSSA Competitions Rule Article 13, as well as FIFA’s regulations on match-fixing and malpractice, to justify these actions.

This decision reflects the commitment to upholding integrity and in school competitions, and USSSA will continue to enforce strict measures against any form of misconduct.

  1. Hello USSSA.
    We need to have clear clarification on who awarded the points to St Andrew Kagwa Gombe High School Kawaala to lead the table and how they changed overnight just hours to the game.
    Then Who Carry’s the blame of the Misconduct (The one being cheated or the officials cheating.
    Let’s not make the tournament useless venture.
