Overview
Uganda is set to participate in the biggest International Schools Federation (ISF) event that will transpire in Manama city of Bahrain . The ISF Gymnasiade will take place from 23rd to 31st October 2024.
Team Uganda
Team Uganda will comprise of six schools and one National team that will participate in 6 sports disciplines that is basketball (3X3), table tennis, badminton, lawn tennis, swimming and athletics.
Seroma Christian High School will compete in (basketball 3X3 [boys and girls], swimming, and table tennis whereas Mbogo Schools, Kibuli SS and Rubaga Girls’ School will play the racket games.

About the ISF Gymnasiade 2024
Bahrain will be the epicenter of sports this October. The biggest ISF event ever and the grandest event in Bahrain’s sports history is set to take the world by storm.
The ISF Gymnasiade will take place from 23rd to 31st October 2024.
The event will include a record number of 26 sports disciplines ranging from swimming to padel, to handball, basketball to badminton and athletics.
Uganda’s ISF performance 2024 so far
Uganda’s flag has been raised high in four countries in various sports disciplines.
From the volleyball in Serbia, to football and basketball in Dalian and Macao China to athletics in Kenya, Uganda has been a common face on the International Schools Sports scene.
With the most recent being the Federation of East Africa Schools Sports Associations games (FEASSA), Uganda played hosts in August and emerged overall winners.
Team Uganda will hope to replicate previous success stories and showcase the best in Manama city of Bahrain.
