Capacity Building: USSSA Confirms Sports Administration and Management Courses In Five Centers

The Uganda Secondary School Sports Association (USSSA) has launched a new course in Sports Administration and Management, aimed at equipping selected participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively manage and administer sports programs. This initiative is part of USSSA’s ongoing efforts to develop the skills and knowledge of sports administrators in Uganda.

The course, which is designed to be comprehensive and interactive, covers key topics such as USSSA regulations, roles and obligations, event management, and administration. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from experienced instructors and to share their own experiences and expertise with one another.

USSSA is committed to supporting the development of sports in Uganda, and believes that this course will play an important role in achieving that goal. This new course builds on the success of previous USSSA training programs, including the Sports Facilities Management course held at Ndejje University last year.

The sports administration and management course is specifically designed for key stakeholders in Uganda’s school sports ecosystem who include;

  • Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association Executive Committee Members
  • Uganda Primary Schools Sports Association Executive Committee Members
  • District School Sports Associations

Schedule:

  • Kibuli Secondary School: 15th – 18th January 2025

    We are really so grateful for this kind of organization.
    And we are much eager to receive this course .

    But I humbly request to be guided on the Naming of District’s. How about the Municipalities/ Cities/ Estate who are not mentioned in the circular are not inclusive ⁉️
