USSSA PRODUCTS WATCH: Two Amus Graduates Sign for USA Sides

In an exciting development, two Amus College alumni, Toto Majub and Allan Oyirwoth, have secured lucrative deals with American football clubs. This milestone marks a significant achievement for Amus College, highlighting the institution’s commitment to nurturing exceptional talent. The deals were handled by Rainbow World Group USA,Real Talent Contracts Spain and Festoweb Smc Uganda.

Toto Majub, the former captain of Amus College and Amusi College Football Club, has inked a two-year contract with Atlanta United 2 in the MLS Next Pro league, with an option to extend for an additional three years. This move is a testament to Majub’s outstanding leadership skills and impressive football prowess. Majub’s experience in leading teams to success is unparalleled, having captained Uganda’s U-20 team to a bronze medal in Tanzania, after narrowly losing to the hosts in the semi-finals.

At the school level, Majub’s achievements are equally impressive. He led Amus College to a silver medal at the ISF World Cup in China, where they lost to the hosts in the finals. Additionally, he captained the team to a national boys’ football championship silver medal, after a hard-fought loss to St. Julian in the finals. However, his most remarkable milestone was leading Amus College to their maiden FEASSA football title, which they won on home soil, dethroning St. Mary’s Kitende in the finals.

Allan Oyirwoth, on the other hand, has signed a four-year deal with MLS Pro League side New England Revolution. Oyirwoth’s remarkable scoring ability has earned him numerous accolades, including top scorer at the ISF Football World Cup in Morocco with 10 goals, FEASSA top scorer in Huye, Rwanda with 9 goals, and MVP at the USSSA Boys Football Championship, all achieved in 2023. What’s more, Oyirwoth has already made his mark on the international stage, having represented Uganda’s senior national team, the Uganda Cranes, and registering an assist in the process.

Both Majub and Oyirwoth joined Amus College in 2023 and have been instrumental in the school’s spectacular performance in recent years. Their dedication, hard work, and natural talent have not only earned them individual recognition but have also contributed significantly to Amus College’s success in various competitions.
