The 6th edition of the Elite Games tipped off yesterday on the 14th of Feb, with top teams battling for bragging rights amidst preparations for this year’s Ball Games 1 to be hosted later this year in Bukedea.
In 5v5 boys’ action, hosts St. Joseph of Nazareth HS Mpigi fell to Buddo SS 13-63. Seeta High led most of the way against Amus College, but a late Amus dunk sparked a comeback—final score: 42-25.
For the girls, Buddo SS dominated Immaculate Heart Girls’ School Nyakibale 65-07.
In 3×3, Seeta High and Gombe SS went to overtime, with Gombe edging out a 12-10 win.
