





A meeting has been held to address the zonal chairpersons, secretaries and executive members ahead of the Zonal qualifiers in various districts. The guidelines for the upcoming Zonal qualifiers were top of the list.

“You can make this tournament cheaper by using our capacity building referees but they must be registered within your region. These referees who are still in school must not be sent to sleep in lodges find them alternative schools where they can stay” Mugisha concluded.

GENERAL GUIDELINE OF DISRICT AND ZONAL CHAMPIONSHIOP 2025
-Competition rules must be reviewed as well as other relevant documents.
-Communication protocol must be established.
-Ensure that all albums and other requested documents are available before and during the competition, ensure the availability of officials, maintain a safe environment (sanitation and security), attend to all incidences, remain impartial and give guidance.
-Disciplinary committees should be established as per USSSA Guidelines and all petitions are expeditiously attended to and agreed parties be informed of the petition outcome.
-Post Competition: Review Competition noting down its progress, challenges and recommendations, document all incidences and evaluate supervision.
USSSA Online Registration Guidelines
-Students/Athletes already registered on the system will be automatically promoted to the next calls upon payment and enrollment.
-The players’ albums will be generated and printed directly from the USSSA Online Registration portal at each stage of the competition and will be used during screening.
-Only students who sat PLE in 2018 to date are eligible to participate (Pass slips, passport size photos must be attached and in line with the Academic documents, information on the LIN and NIN.
-Only students on normal progress as per Ministry of Education and Sports Guidelines are to be registered on the system (Repeaters are not allowed.
-Foreign students and refugees must have their results equated by UNEB and uploaded to the USSSA Portal.
-Foreign students must possess a student pass from Ministry of Foreign Affairs and refugee cards from the office of the Prime Minister for the case of refugees.
