Wakiso Zone Qualifiers 2025 : Boys and Girls football draws- All you need to know

After successful completion of sub zone qualifiers, the zonal qualifiers are set to take centre stage in boys’ and girls’ football.

National championship Dates: 4th -14th May 2025

Nationals hosts: Bukedea Comprehensive School (USSSA Ball Games I) and Ngora High School (National Football Boys Championship)

Wakiso Zone Qualifiers Dates: 8th -12th April

Wakiso Zonals have always served cool and hot football vibes due to the rivalries and top talents that sprout from this given part of the country.

After holding their draws on Saturday, April 5th at Wakisha Resource Centre in Wakiso District, the championship will get underway on Tuesday, April 8th.

Action is set to take place in Nsangi Zone which is hosting this year’s edition. St Mbaga Nadangira Zone hosted last year’s championship.

40 teams are set to vie for the five slots allocated to this zone in the boys football category and hence were divided into eight groups.

Holders St. Mary’s Boarding Secondary School-Kitende were pitted in group group A alongside Cityland College, Kawempe Royal College, God’s Way, and Canaan.

 Meanwhile six slots are up for grabs in the girls’ football for the National championship.

Holders St. Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana will begin their title defence in Group A, facing neighbours Kisubi Mapeera, Comprehensive School Kitetika, and Light College Katikamu.
