
The CAF Africa Schools Football Championship is set to kick off on 23rd and climax on 26th April this year in Accra, Ghana. The under 15 aged tournament attracts top teams from the five regions of CAF, host nation and defending champions.
In the girls category, Uganda will be represented by St Noa Girls who emerged CECAFA Champions in the qualifiers held in Uganda last year.
It will become the second school to represent Uganda in the girls category at the final championship after Kawempe Muslim SS in 2024 who came out as bronze medallists.
The final draw for the tournament is set on 21st April in Ghana.
The twenty lasses named to represent the Pearl of Africa includes notable names, Goalkeeper Haira Nabbosa, Cynthia Kirenga, Nabawanuka Belinda Hope and Tracy Nabalanzi who were part of last year’s team that was in Tanzania.
