The USSSA National Boys Football Championship continued with day 2 at various playgrounds in Ngora District.
Defending Champions St Julian, Amus College, Blessed Sacrament Kimanya, Standard High School Zzana, Buddo SS, St Mary’s Kitende,Busia High School and Bugisu High School are among schools that registered wins on day two.
Reigning Champions St Julian High School beat Labira Girls 2-1 to register their second consecutive win which enlightens their chances of advancing to knockout stages.
Last year’s finalists Amus College registered their first win overcoming Luwero Secondary Schools 1-0.
Fans’ favorites Blessed Sacrament Kimanya opened their title hunt with a convincing 8-0 win against Moyo Stars High School. Wafula Ian and Ofoyirwoth Junior netted a brace each while Mutebi Patrick, last year’s MVP Magala Isma Mulala, Kayemba Arnold and captain Sengoba Hamza scored a goal each to lead the Masaka based side to their first win.
