TABLE TENNIS GIANTS PREVAIL ONCE MORE
Kibuli SS are gold medalists for both the girls and boys’ categories in Table Tennis.
Table Tennis presented a thrilling final in the USSSA Ball Games 1 Competitions in the girls’ category that showcased the talents of Kibuli SS and Mbogo High School as even though the Mbogo Girls were defeated 3-0 they put up an unforeseen spirited resistance.
Match Highlights
The match began with both the captains gracing the table this game was between Nangonzi Parvin of Kibuli SS and Namaala Shanitah of Mbogo High it was a tough game that ended in 3-1 in favor of Parvin and the scores were 12:10 – 11:6 – 8:11 – 11:6
The second set wasn’t as competitive as the first as it was always so close in the beginning until it wasn’t Nakawala Jemima of Kibuli SS and Nabwire Patricia went point for point but eventually Jemima would break and escape Patricia’s grasp this in the end left the scoreline looking 3-0 with 11:6 – 11:4 – 11:9
The third seeds stepped to the table to battle it out in the deciding game of the final. Mbogo’s hopes of a victory were left with Sentongo Mercy and Kibuli’s victory was to be confirmed by Nasirumbi Patra another 3-0 encounter was seen however in a scoreline of 11:4 – 11:3 – 11:6 in favor of Kibuli

The USSSA Ball Game I competitions in table tennis in the girl’s category reached a fitting closure as the Kibuli SS giants prevailed and defended their trophy going in to the FEASSA GAMES.
The boys final was equally entertaining and yet it was also completely dominated by Kibuli SS in a game that ended 3-0 against Mbogo Mixed School.
