Rugby sevens day 2:Newcomers Kabukunge Muslim and Kijjabwemi SS stun regulars.

Sunday 13th July had more rugby sevens matches played in the group stages of the ongoing Ball Games II Championship in Tororo.

Newcomers Kabukunge Muslim stunned Hana International beating them 05-00 during the stages while Jinja SSS suffered a 07-00 loss to Kijjabwemi SS.

This is the very first time Kabukunge Muslim has been to the national rugby sevens after introducing the sport to their athletes in 2024.They were very happy with the win according to their captain, Joram Lubega.

“I am very happy that we have won today I feel so happy because i never expected that we could win those big guys are looking forward to do better during the championship there are still other big teams we are yet to face such as St. Mary’s College Kisubi ” Lubega Joram ,the captain Kabukunge Muslim.
