First preparatory meeting held ahead of FEASSA games in Kakamega. -

A preparatory meeting was held ahead of the Federation of east Africa schools sports championship. The meeting was chaired by Mugisha Justus, President USSSA and attended by games’ teachers.

Below are the travel requirements for the FEASSA Games 2025 12^th-23^rd August.

Passports/travel permits, yellow fever vaccination certificate, valid school identity card, two (2) passports size photographs, valid driving permit for drivers, insurance for cars / third party, medical check-up/form, consent letters/forms, accreditation card and original car/bus log books.

Participating Countries

Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Burundi, Rwanda, Zanzibar, South Sudan

Sports Disciplines

Football, volleyball, netball, handball, hockey, athletics, badminton, tennis, table tennis, swimming, basketball (3×3 and 5×5), rugby 7’s, rugby 15’s while chess and scrabble will take place for the very first time.

Beach football, beach volleyball, lacrosse, cricket are the disciplines that will be on demonstration and teams must confirm by 15^th July 2025.

Age Restrictions

All players must be born on or after 23rd August 2005 (Under 19)

Primary Schools: Under 15 (Born on or after 23rd August 2009)
