Uganda is all set in Algeria for the first edition of the ANOCA School Games.
Represented by 4 schools and 2 National sides in swimming and athletics Uganda will compete in the championship from 26th July to 5th August.
In football Uganda, represented by Buddo SS was drawn in group C along side Tunisia and Ivory Coast.
Uganda kicks the first ball on 29th July against Tunisia at Stade Hamlaoui – Constantine before playing Ivory Coast on 31st July at the same venue.
Coach Richard Malinga of team Uganda (Buddo SS) will be hoping for the very best from his boys following success at the Nationals in May.
Several boys from the Nationals winning squad are part of this team including captain Barasa Dickson, Mukisa Owen who was MVP and Ssenteza Tom.
Team Uganda already carried out a training session in Algeria in highlighting their ambitions prior to kick off.
