A record number of 22 schools took part in the Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) Swimming Championships at Seroma Christian High School on Saturday.
The hosts were class apart as they won the overall trophy with 877 points.They were joined on the podium by Aga Khan High School Academy with 768 points and British School of Kampala Rafters (BSK) with 664 points.
Seroma also topped the girls’ and boys’ categories with 406 and 411 points respectively. They defended the boys’ trophy while they disposed BSK of the girls’ trophy this year.
BSK were second in the girls’ category with 380 points while Aga Khan were third with 323 points on Saturday.In the boys’ category Aga Khan came second with 371 points while Greenhill Academy had 312 to finish third.
