KAKAMEGA, Kenya – August 21, 2025 – The volleyball boys’ semi-finals saw Namugongo Vocational from Uganda defeat Bukedea Comprehensive, Uganda’s 2025 national volleyball boys’ champions, in a tough semi-final match at the 2025 FEASSA Games.


The match was so intense and tight that it tied at 2-2 after four sets, leading to a deciding fifth set, ending 3-2 (25-14, 25-23, 26-28, 11-25, 15-6) in favor of Namugongo Vocational. They started strong, winning the first set 25-14 with big hits and good blocks. Bukedea Comprehensive fought hard in the second set but lost 25-23 after a close battle. The third set was long and tight, with Bukedea taking it 28-26 with a sharp serve. In the fourth set, Bukedea played better, winning 25-11 to make it 2-2. In the fifth set, Namugongo came back strong, defending well and serving tough to win 15-6. The crowd cheered loudly as Namugongo made its way to the finals.
