Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) unveils exciting opportunities for sports enthusiasts during the January holidays
Kampala, January 9, 2024 – The Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) extends warm Season’s Greetings and a Happy New Year 2024, presenting an exciting opportunity for students and sports enthusiasts with the Capacity Building Training scheduled for January.
Study Venues & Courses
The training, set to take place at three prominent secondary schools, aims to enhance skills in various disciplines. The venues and corresponding disciplines are as follows:
- Sacred Heart Secondary School Gulu
- District: Gulu
- Football: Coaching & Refereeing
- Netball: Umpiring
- Athletics: Coaching & Officiation
- Mbale Secondary School
- District: Mbale
- Football: Coaching & Refereeing
- Netball: Umpiring
- Volleyball: Umpiring
- First Aid & Injury Treatment
- Kibuli Secondary School Kampala
- Coaching & Refereeing: Netball, Football, Basketball, Handball, Volleyball, Athletics, Woodball
- Media First Aid & Injury Treatment
Registration Details
All participants are required to register online with a fee of UGX 10,000. Additional payments are necessary to complete the registration process: Follow this link:

- A balance of UGX 140,000 for Residential learners
- A balance of UGX 88,000 for Non-Residential learners
Participants must make payments to the USSSA Account No. 3010609431, Banker: Centenary Bank, using Agent Banking.
The registration fee covers participation, training materials, training kits, certificates of merit from National Sports Federations (NFs), certificates of attendance from the Ministry of Education and Sports (MoES), as well as feeding and accommodation.
The registration deadline is January 10, 2024.

Level 2 is free and only for referees and umpiress but you must have been practicing
