Gombe SS has put up exciting performances in this year’s edition of elite games in handball and after defeating Kakira ss and Wampewo Ntakke in their opening games on the 25 at Jinja College and Kangululu has exhibited very excellent performance in the two games they played today winning 21:10 in their opener against Gombe ss and 30:13 against Jinja college.
The defending champions are left with only two games to play and that is MM Wairaka tomorrow and Wampewo Ntakke ss on Saturday and are most likely to win both of them to lift the trophy again

The battle for the trophy intensified on match day 2 of the Handball action at the 2024 Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) elite games in jinja city. In some of the exciting boys’ matches, Gombe S.S humbled Jinja College 10-14 as Kakungulu defeated Wairaka by 27:14
In other matches for Jinja College, the home side JICO was defeated by its neighbors MM Wairaka by 21:25, Wampewo Ntakke condemned MM Wairaka 24-11 and the very Wampewo Ntakke were 20:8 victors over Gombe S.S.
