NETBALL: DAY 2 EXPOSES HIGH TENSION AS TEAMS BATTLE FOR THE USSSA ELITE GAMES TITLE.
Today marked the second day of the USSSA ELITE games in Jinja City at Jinja SSS and Jinja College. Different schools are participating in the games. Every day that breaks tension and pressure mount as the crowning of champions in every gaming discipline draws nearer.
Today the defending champions of the Netball Elite trophy of 2023 Buddo SSS hit hard Kawempe Muslim Secondary School who last season emerged to the finals by scoring 51 against 18 of Kawempe Muslim in Round 3. While Bukedea Comprehensive was heavily beaten by Ahmadiyya Muslim Secondary School 44 against 23. In the same round quarter, Jinja SSS slightly defeated Kawempe Muslim Secondary School by scoring 31 against 30. Still, in the same quarter, Jinja SSS faced off with Baptist High School which heavily hit it by 42 against 30 of Jinja SSS.
Deep in the day Buddo SSS the reigning champions faced off with Bukedea SSS which they heavily defeated by scoring 47 against 13. Still, in the same quarter, Jinja SSS faced off against Ahmadiyya Muslim Secondary School which mercilessly hit 37 against 28
