USSSA ZONAL QUALIFIERS: Kibuli faultless in bid to defend Kampala title

The Kampala Zone qualifiers for the National Boys football Championship-Masaka 2024 are sidling up to a delicious stage as the teams battle for the four National tickets.

Defending champions Kibuli SS have set themselves apart in group A. They lead the log with seven points garnered in three games.

Having suffered a setback on day one, Kibuli responded emphatically on day 2 with convincing victories against Bishop Cyprian Kihangire and Kazo Hill 3-0 and 2-0 respectively.

Meanwhile last year’s runner up Uganda Martyrs High School-Lubaga are second placed in the same group having played a game less. The latter has played two games winning 5-1 against Bishop Cyprian and playing out a goalless draw with Old Kampala SS.

In the adjacent group, Lubiri SS ran riot as they beat Lakeside School Luzira a week to nil to make amends for their early morning 2-1 loss to Kakungulu Memorial School.
