The USSSA Executive committee delegate Bithola Ocukune Francis accompanied by the USSSA staff Awor Teddy delivered zakayo balls and USSSA branded t-shirts to the USSSA Lango zone executive members on the 12th April at Apac SS during the USSSA Lango zone qualifiers
The Zakayo balls where received by the Lango zone chairman Ogwal Denis in presence of his vice chairperson Alot Geoffrey, Edeu John Justin host headteacher and USSSA district chairperson Akeba James.
Bithola Ocukune Francis comments while delivering the packages,
“Our main aim of bringing these balls is to market our own Uganda sporting equipments like the zakayo balls which are very affordable. We want to improve on the talents of the young ones through providing sporting equipment.”
Edeu John Justin headteacher Apac SS was very grateful and expressed his appreciation to USSSA for the initiative.
”This will improve our school sports and take them to a whole new level,” he added.
The Lango zone qualifiers started on 9th and will end on the 14th of April in the process to identify the schools that will represent Lango at the National showpiece.
