ANOCA Games 2025: Results and fixtures – Day 2

Uganda is participating at the first edition of the ANOCA School Games in Algeria represented by four schools namely Buddo SS, Gayaza High School, Seroma Christian High School and Buddo SS and two Select sides for swimming and athletics.

Imran Luwooza made a strong start for Uganda at the ANOCA Games, securing a convincing win in the table tennis competition against Abdelhine Merouane of Algeria.

Luwooza was unplayable as he dominated the match, taking down his Algerian opponent in straight sets with a score of 11-9, 11-7, and 11-8.

Uganda’s badminton team faced a tough match against Ghana on Sunday, July 27, ultimately finishing second with a score of 4-1 (43-55).

Following the result, Uganda is 3rd in Group B, behind Algeria and Ghana, while Tunisia is at the bottom.

In swimming, the boys and girls officially tap the waters on Monday in their quest for gold.
