Uganda’s Luwooza Imran has made a powerful statement at the ongoing ANOCA African School Games 2025 in Algeria, dominating table tennis with back-to-back victories.

Representing Seroma Christian High School, Luwooza topped Group B after a clinical straight-sets victory over Seychelles, winning 3:0 with commanding scores of 11:8, 11:9, 11:3.

With two wins from two group stage matches, Luwooza qualifies directly to the quarterfinals, where he will face the winner between Cameroon and Ghana, who are set to clash in the round of 16.

The Ugandan prodigy has a podium finish closer to sight for the Pearl of Africa.

Meanwhile the competition has intesified with more Ugandan athletes in action in the rest of the cities.

It is key to note that the ANOCA games are being played in four cities namly Annaba, Constantine, Setif and Skikda.
