This retreat is the beginning to unifying school sports in Uganda.The retreat was attended by the executive committee members of both Uganda secondary schools sports Association (USSSA) and Uganda Primary School Sports Association (UPSSA).

Ugandan male and female swimmers accumulated 473.5 and 451 points respectively to beat hosts Kenya in the Federation of East Africa Secondary School Sports Association (Feasssa) Games.

The event held at St. Peter’s Junior and Primary School Mumias gave Uganda their fourth straight titles in both categories and came with 27 gold, 16 silver, and nine bronze medals from 36 events.

In the boys’ category, Uganda’s Bukedea Comprehensive led Pool A, beating Burundi’s St. Luc and Standard High Zzana. Namugongo Vocational took second in Pool B, behind Kenya’s Cheptil SS. Uganda’s girls also shone, with Katikamu SDA and Amus College in Pool A, and Bukedea Comprehensive and Tororo Girls battling in Pool B.

Bukedea Comprehensive School boys football team advanced to the semi-finals of the on-going 2025 FEASSA Games.

Sumaiya Nalumu’s lone goal was enough to guide St. Noa Girls School Zana to a 1-0 win over Amus College in Tuesday’s semifinals of girls’ football at the ongoing Federation of East Africa Secondary School Sports Association (Feasssa) Games at Kakamega High School.

Kakungulu Memorial hold advantage in boys’ hockey at the ongoing Federation of East Africa Secondary School Sports Association Games in Kakamega after they beat Ntare School 3-0 to move to 13 points in five games.

Jinja SSS were the only Ugandan side of 4 to qualify for the rugby fifteens semi final. Jinja SSS emerged 2nd in group A where they faced Ugandan side Namilyango College,Vihiga and Upper Hill. Jinja won two groups games against Namilyango College and Vihiga SS to make the semi ahead of opponents Vihiga from Kenya.

Jinja SSS girls won their final game against Kenyan side Kinale 10-05.This year’s rugby sevens had 6 girls’ teams namely Nkoma SSS (Uganda), Jinja SSS (Uganda) and four Kenyan sides. The teams played a round robin format.

Two penalty corner conversions from Eugene Kisagala guided Kakungulu Memorial to a 4-1 win over fellow Ugandan boys’ hockey side Kyaddondo SS at the ongoing Federation of East Africa Secondary School Sports Association Games in Kakamega, Kenya.
