Boni Concilii Girls Vocational School Team will represent Uganda at the inaugural CAF Girls Intergrated Football Tournament that will take place from 7th to 18th January 2025 at Azam Complex in Dar es Salam in Tanzania.
The tournament is aimed at providing a platform to showcase young female footballers, build player capacity and promote women’s football at regional and continental levels.
The competition is part of CAF’s strategy to promote gender equality and empower the next generation of female footballers.
Boni Concilii was selected to represent Uganda after imerging victors in the USSSA Ball Games II, Girls football U-16.
The team joined residential camp on 12th December 2024 at Old Kampala Secondary School for high preparations.
On Saturday 4th, during the draws held in Tanzania, the team was pitted in group B alongside TDS Girls from Tanzania, Aigle Noir FC from Burundi and Hilaad FC of Somalia.
The team will step on the pitch for its first game on 8th January against Tanzania based TDS Girls, later take on Hilaad FC of Somalia on 11th before tussling out with Burundi’s Aigle Noir in their last group fixture on 14th this month.
