Buddo Secondary School, the champions of the U20 Secondary School National Football Boys Championship 2025, have confirmed their participation in the inaugural Africa National Olympic Committee Association (ANOCA) School Games, set to take place in Algeria from July 26 to August 5, 2025. This prestigious event is organized by the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA) in conjunction with the Uganda Olympic Committee.

The African School Games aim to identify and nurture young African sporting talents, promoting Olympic values such as excellence, friendship, and respect. Buddo Secondary School’s participation in the National U20 Championship 2025, held at Ngora and showcased its exceptional football skills, demonstrated by its victory, where it edged out St. Mary’s Boarding School Kitende 6-5 in penalties.

Participation is open to the top three schools per discipline from the recently concluded National ball games 1 in Bukedea and Ngora.However confirmation must be followed by payment.
Note:One School will represent the country in each discipline and on first come first served basis.
The inaugural Africa School Games will be held across four Algerian cities—Annaba, Sétif, Constantine, and Skikda. The opening ceremony is scheduled for July 26, with the closing ceremony on August 5, followed by cultural activities on August 7.
