Arthur Lukoda showed he is the man for the big moments as he helped Kings College Budo to their third straight rugby 15s title at the Secondary Schools Ball Games 1 Championships in Mbale.
Budo kept the belief to come from 13-0 down to beat rivals Namilyango College 14-13 in Busamaga.
Titus Nyonyintono put Namilyango ahead at the tryline before spectators could even warm their seats in the first minute of the match.
Mark Ssekadde made it 10-0 midway the first half and Nyonyintono scored a drop goal to make it 13-0
At this point Namilyango looked unstoppable. But Budo summoned unbelievable character to keep probing.
Towards the end of the first half, their efforts paid off when Caleb Nimaro got to the try-line. Lukoda converted to ensure they had more than halved the deficit by halftime.
Lukoda then converted his own try with about three minutes to go to send his school and its supporters into frenzy. Namilyango were left stunned.
