Bunyoro Zonal Secondary School Ball Games II Kick off with a Bang.

The Bunyoro Zone Secondary School Ball Games II kicked off yesterday with great excitement as schools from around the region arrived at the St Theresa Girls Secondary School and Victory High School Masindi, eager to compete in the highly anticipated tournament.

However, the excitement was short-lived for some schools as the organizers announced a serious screening process to ensure that all participating students met the age and eligibility requirements.

The screening process, which took place at the beginning of the tournament, revealed that some schools had overaged and fake education document students participating in the under 16 football championship. Unfortunately, St Adolf and Premier SS from Hoima City were disqualified from the competition due to these infractions.

Despite the setbacks, the tournament continued with a bang as the remaining schools took to the field to showcase their skills. Panyadoli SS dominated St Patrick SS with a convincing 4-0 win, while Mandela SS and St Patrick SS played out a thrilling 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Nalweyo SS put up a good fight but ultimately lost 1-3 to St Charlene.

As the dust settled on the first day of competition, the teams looked forward to the remaining fixtures, which are set to take place tomorrow starting at 8am. The excitement is building, and fans are eagerly anticipating another day of thrilling matches and intense competition.

Will Panyadoli SS continue their winning streak? Can Mandela SS bounce back from their draw? And what surprises do the remaining fixtures have in store? All these questions and more will be answered tomorrow as the Bunyoro Zonal Secondary School Ball Games II continue to captivate fans and spectators alike.
