Today, 39 participants passed as qualified coaches and referees. The participants have completed the beginners’ level of football coaching and refereeing respectively.
A week-long course has been conducted at St. Mary’s Rushoroza in Kabale Municipality
“We can only promote sports in Uganda if we start from grassroots with the right professionals having the right knowledge to be applied at the right time,” USSSA Executive member Monday Christopher during the closing ceremony at Rushoroza.
“ We believe that with these courses, will now help to improve on the performances and competitions in our schools.
The 12-year-old Ahabwe Antony on behalf of the class promised never to disappoint their instructors because, with the knowledge received, they will perform.
