Job Opportunity: Marketing Manager         

The Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Marketing Manager to join our team. USSSA is a leading organization that oversees more than 19 sports disciplines in schools across Uganda, promoting sports excellence and fostering talent development.

Position: Marketing Manager
Location: Kampala, Uganda
Salary: UGX 1.2M per month
Report to: Director Marketing, IT and Communications

Job Description:

As a Marketing Officer at USSSA, you will play a crucial role in promoting our organization’s mission and expanding our reach within the community. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing Marketing Strategies.
• Coordinate Content Creation, promotional, and branding materials.
• Digital Marketing.
• Partnership Development.
• Event Promotion.
• Market Research.
• Reporting and Analysis

Qualifications & Skills

As a Marketing Officer at USSSA, you will play a crucial role in promoting our organization’s mission and expanding our reach within the community. Your responsibilities will include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience in marketing, preferably in the sports industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
• Knowledge of the Ugandan School Sports landscape is a plus.
• Organizational skills and leadership;
• Relational skills;
• Creativity
• Good analytical, observational, and anticipatory skills and decision-making.
