The bidding process, coordinated by the Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association, saw several schools step forward with the aim of hosting these championships. Each school aims to provide top-tier facilities, infrastructure, and a welcoming environment for participants, all while showcasing their commitment to sports development.
The recognition included schools that clinched gold medals and trophies at both national and international levels. In sports, schools like Buddo Secondary School, St. Mary’s Secondary School Kitende, King’s College Buddo and Stand High School Zzana (STAHIZA) stood out with their remarkable achievements.
As the selected schools prepare to take on the world, it’s important to note that confirmation to participate in these championships is expected by September 30, 2023.
