USSSA’s Capacity Building Program offers a wide array of training courses across various sports disciplines, ensuring that participants can enhance their skills, knowledge, and passion in their chosen field. Courses include Football, Netball, Volleyball, Athletics, Basketball, Handball, and Racket Games (Table Tennis, Badminton, Tennis). Additionally, a special course in Media is available for those interested in sports journalism and broadcasting.
As the capacity-building program concluded, participants praised USSSA for its partnership with UPSSA and expressed a heartfelt desire for similar courses to be accessible in their respective regions.
The comprehensive presentation covered the history of anti-doping activities, the definition of doping, reasons behind athletes resorting to doping, anti-doping rule violations, and the significance of Therapeutic Use Exemptions (TUEs).
By equipping students with the necessary skills and knowledge, the program aims to cultivate a new generation of capable coaches, officials, umpires, and media officers, ensuring the sustainability and growth of school sports across the country.
