Special from the previous years, the bidding to host national championships from 2024 to 2028 has been officially opened. During the press conference held at GNS Office, Mugisha Justus, declared the bidding to host the 2025, 2026, 2027, and 2028 USSSA National games open to all regions and schools across the country.

In his address the President outlined the key focus areas namely capacity building, new sports disciplines, infrastructure, ISF participation and the USSSA online registration.

“This year we have been able to support Uganda Primary School Sports Association in various fields. For example, Capacity Building, online registration, event management, expansion of Primary games at FEASSA and governance (Organizing elections earlier this year)” Justus Mugisha , USSSA President.

Since it’s initiation in 2022, Uganda has been performing well at the CECAFA region and at the final championship with Kawempe Muslim the latest best performer with Bronze.
