A total of 64 participants,16 boys, and 48 girls have been undergoing training at Makerere University and Old Kampala SS for a fortnight. The participants were selected from different schools in various regions across the country.

Meanwhile, Gombe SS’s girls’ handball team has etched their name in history by clinching their first-ever handball championship at the USSSA Elite Games. Displaying exceptional skill and determination, they emerged triumphant in all their tournament matches.
Buddo SSS continued their winning streak as they emerged victorious once again, showcasing their exceptional skills and teamwork. On the other hand, Jinja SSS, despite their valiant efforts, could not break their streak of losses, as they faced yet another setback against Baptist High School, with a final score of 32-23.

Shadia Nabirye of Kawempe Muslim SS, Gloria Mutesi of Jinja SS, and Sumaiyah Nalumu of St. Noa Girls SS were also very impressive as they put up spectacular performances and bagged a couple of goals to ensure that their sides performed well.
