FEASSA Football: Team Uganda Day One Wrap Up.

Defending champions St Mary’s Kitende kicked off on a high with a 2-0 win over Highway Secondary School from Kenya while Amus College surrendered the lead to move away with a point against Kenya’s Musingu. In the girls category, St Noa Girls School won it’s first game while Amus College lost 2-0.

Following a bright start for team Uganda yesterday as hosts Bukedea Comprehensive School beat Tanzania’s Benjamin Mkapa Secondary School 2-0 in the opening match of the championship, The games continued today with four Ugandan teams in action.

Defending Champions Kick Off On A High.

St Mary’s Kitende completed revenge against Kenyan rivals Highway Secondary School with a 2-0 win in both team’s opener played today morning at Amus College Stadium.

Denis Kisiriko tapped in a low ball in the 36th minute to send Kitende in the lead at half time before Agok Santos sealed the win in the 80th minute.

Amus Surrenders Win

Amus College played a 2 all draw with Musingu Secondary School from Kenya. The visitors came from behind twice to settle for a point.

Amus played entertaining football lighting up the stadium in the opening minutes took a well deserved lead from the spot through captain Toto Majub to lead at interval.

The visitors leveled terms in the early minutes of the second half but Amus regained the lead. The visitors scored a stunning free kick in the dying minutes to silence the stadium.

Girls Football :St Noa starts perfect while a doubtful start for Amus.

St Noa Girls’ beat Tanzanite SS 2-0 in an early kickoff played today morning. Sylvia Kabene and Sumayiah Nalumu with a goal each to lead East Africa’s girls football powerhouse to the first win.

Amus College suffered a two nil defeat to Kenya’s champions Butere Girls. The visitors took a half time lead through Joy Angela Valencia who later doubled the lead in the second half.
