FEASSA Games: Uganda faultless on matchday 3- Netball

Overview

With 3 of the 4 teams in action on Wednesday, Uganda managed to collect maximum points. Buddo SS, St. Mary’s Boarding School Kitende and Kawanda all beat their opponents whilst St. Noa Girls’ School had a day off.

Matchday 3 results

  • St. Mary’s Boarding School Kitende 49-25 Bumala AC SS
  • Buddo SS 80 – 18 GS Gahini (Rwanda)
  • Oyugi Ogango 30- 46 Kawanda SS

Buddo SS was nothing short of sensation as they were desperate to bounce back back from Tuesday’s loss to Kawanda.

Buddo schooled Rwandan outfit GS Gahini 80-18 which is the biggest victory so far at this year’s FEASSA Games.

Kawanda SS followed their steps to beat Oyugi Ogango Girls from Kenya 46-30 in what was a close contest that the score line doesn’t even reflect.

Uganda National champions St. Mary’s Boarding School Kitende climaxed the day with an impressive victory of 49:25 over Bumala AC SS in the last game of the day.

St. Noa Girls’ School returns to action on Friday having not played on matchday 3.

Can Uganda defend the netball gold? All the signs so far breed positive response towards this goal.

The FEASSA Games started on 16th August and will end on 27th the same month.
