The 20th edition of the Federation of East African Secondary Schools Sports Association (FEASSSA) Games in Huye City, Rwanda, continued to dazzle spectators and athletes alike as day two presented a stunning array of basketball matches. The courts echoed with the resounding dribbles and cheers as teams battled for supremacy in various categories of the game.

Basketball 3×3 Boys:
The 3×3 Boys’ category set the tone for the day’s exhilarating action. In an intense face-off, Onjiko (Ke) triumphed over Timbila (Ke) with a tight scoreline of 12-10. The determination and precision displayed on the court showcased the teams’ commitment to giving their all.
Hope SS (Ug) locked horns with FS Kamusinga (Ke) and managed to secure a 16-12 victory, while Buddo SS (Ug) and Seroma Christian (Ug) delivered a nail-biting match that concluded with a 13-12 win for Seroma Christian (Ug).

Basketball 3×3 Girls:
The girls’ 3×3 category continued the excitement as Ssaku SS (Ug) outperformed Butere (Ke) with a commanding score of 15-04. Nabisunsa (Ug) clashed with St. Mary’s Kitende (Ug), with St. Mary’s Kitende (Ug) emerging victorious with a scoreline of 18-13. Ototo (Ke) and Ecole Ste Bernadette (Rw) also delivered an intense match, concluding with a 18-11 win for Ecole Ste Bernadette (Rw).
Basketball 5×5 Boys:
The 5×5 Boys’ category showcased dynamic gameplay, with LDK (Rw) securing a 60-44 victory over Elite High Entebbe (Ug). Mbogo Mixed (Ug) and Laiser Hill (Ke) delivered a nail-biting contest, with Laiser Hill (Ke) triumphing with a close scoreline of 72-69.
Roleto Sec (Tz) faced an uphill battle against Ste Bernadette (Rw), resulting in a convincing 86-28 win for Ste Bernadette (Rw). Buddo SS (Ug) displayed their prowess with an impressive 87-37 victory over Dagoretti High (Ke).
Basketball 5×5 Girls:
The 5×5 Girls’ category was no less intense. Rafiki Foundation (Tz) fought valiantly but fell short against Nabisunsa Girls (Ug), resulting in a 46-39 victory for Nabisunsa Girls (Ug). St. Noa Girls (Ug) emerged victorious with a 72-60 win against Ste Bernadette (Rw), showcasing their exceptional teamwork and skill.

Orkeeswa (Tz) faced off against GS M Reine (Rw), with GS M Reine (Rw) securing an impressive 84-51 victory. The clash between St. Mary’s Kitende (Ug) and Butere Girls ended with a commanding 90-47 victory for St. Mary’s Kitende (Ug).
As the matches unfolded, the energy and sportsmanship on display were a true testament to the dedication of the athletes. With each pass, shot, and dribble, the teams demonstrated their commitment to the game and their pursuit of victory.
