Crowds in Ndejje were served a game of their lives as two top sides all fought tooth and nail to clinch the girls’ football title 2024.
The clash full of end to end action, ended in a goalless draw and therefore spot kicks were the day’s savior.
Kawempe goalie Haira Nabbosa made two superb stops from the spot kicks to deliver the trophy to the Kawempe based side.

What does this victory imply?
This victory cements Kawempe Muslim at the epitome of Fresh Dairy Girls’ Football. Kawempe Muslim is the record champion of the championship having won it a record 8 times and this only widens it’s gap at the top.
Coach Moses Nkata will be very proud of the girls for delivering their second USSSA trophy this year having won the Elite Games in Jinja that took place in January.
Meanwhile, Rines SS will be proud to have made it to their first Fresh Dairy Girls’ Football final. Rines SS under the stewardship of head coach Bright Nyanzi experienced third place finishes on a couple of occasions in the championship even recently in Mbarara although they qualified for FEASSA games in Rwanda.
A silver medal is not a mean feat that anyone would underlook.


Amus College School scooped bronze at this year’s edition.
Following the conclusion of this year’s Fresh Dairy Girls’ Football edition, Kawempe Muslim SS will represent Uganda as gold medalists, Rines – silver, Amus College School – bronze and St. Noa in Bukedea later this year.
