Route to the final
Kawempe Muslim SS edged Uganda Martyrs High School Lubaga 5-3 in penalties having played a goalless draw at the quarter finals. They went ahead to beat St. Noa Girls’ School 1-0 in the semi final thanks to a Hadijah Babirye first half header.
Meanwhile, Rines SS came from a goal down to defeat Sheema Girls’ School 2-1 to qualify for the semi finals. The Wakiso based sided went ahead and beat Amus College School 2-0 thanks to goals by Ayerango Prisca and Halima Mupyanga.
Will Rines make history or will Kawempe continue to seal their spot at the top of the game?
Elsewhere, Amus College School will battle for third place against St. Noa Girls’s School while Uganda Martyrs and Sheema Girls’ School will vie for 5/6th positions as Boni Consili Girls’ will fight for 7/8th place.
