So far total of 49 teams confirmed to participate in girls football while 60 teams will take play in basketball both girls and boys.
Ayub Khalifah the publicity secretary USSSA presided over the draws urging all participating schools to put more emphasis on sporting behaviours. He also highlighted on why the number of schools increased from the 32 of previous season to 64.

“Yes today we conducted the draws for both girls football and the basketball for both girls and boys, why we conducted them here not at the venue, it’s to give chance to these schools to get ready before the kick off date.” He said before adding, “last time we had 32 teams in girls football but we decided to add on more teams to 64 because we are not going to be with our sponsor, it’s the schools to facilitate themselves, that’s why did so.”
The top seven teams of previous edition were seeded plus the hosting school and the 2019 defending champions Kawempe Muslim SS has been seeded in group A ,Gaddafi Integrated in group B, Mukono Bishops in group D, Mukono High SS is in group E ,Uganda Martyrs –Lubaga group F ,Gaddafi Integrated in group G and St. Noah tops group H.

2019 defending champions boy Buddo SS a pitted in group A with Makerere College, Janan SS, Mandela SS Hoima and Nabumali High School on the side of girls basket ball St. Marys Kitende the defending champions will fight high in group A as the runners up St. Noah girls school are in group F


Fresh diary games kick on Monday 18 April and will climax on 26 April, 2022 at Scared Heart at Gulu City
