Overview
Boni Consilli Girls’ Vocational football, Uganda representatives at the CAF Girls Integrated Football Tournament suffered defeat in their group opener against Tanzania side TDS Girls.

In a game played at Chamazi Stadium Dar es Salaam, Boni Consilli conceded two goals in the second half thanks to brilliant finishes by Mary Arone Siyame and Winfrida Mathias.
Coach David Bbale’s girls stood strong in the opening half although they struggled to create chances.
In the proceedings both teams failed to exert control on the game which led to transitional displays filled with many challenges especially in the middle park of the pitch.
The transitional nature of the game did more harm than good for the likes of Prisca Ayerango and Peace Ayirwoth who preferred to play with the ball on their feet than in spaces.
The second half proved decisive with Winfrida Mathias striking TDS into the lead in the 60th minute after a beautiful solo run slicing through the Boni defence.
TDS’ Mary Arone Siyame burried Uganda’s hopes with a minute to stoppage time which sealed victory for the home side.
After this result, Boni Consilli stands in third place while TDS tops group B.

Here’s what the coach had to say
Head coach David Bbale expressed belief in the girls and showed the need to make ammends in the next game for a better shot at the final.
“We played well in the first half. I am proud of the girls because they showed great character during the game and I promise that we shall win the next match.”
