Kirinya Isaac, a proud representative of the lacrosse community in Uganda, expressed his enthusiasm for this momentous occasion. “We are so excited for the game to be considered as part of the games in the Ball Games II Championship here in Cavalry. The game being played in Cavalry signifies that it’s the first place where the game is being played in a secondary school game since its inception in Uganda in 2019,” shared Isaac.

Uganda holds the distinction of being the pioneer of lacrosse in Africa, and this inclusion in the championship opens up immense possibilities for the sport’s growth and recognition.
