Dr. Kedrace Turyagenda, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education and Sports, visited St. Peter’s College Tororo and Tororo Girls School on July 14th, where she interacted with athletes and officials, and witnessed exciting competitions in handball, basketball, and beach soccer.




On her guided tour she was accompanied by Rev. Can. Dr. Duncans Mugumya, Commissioner Physical Education, Abalo Grace, Senior Education Officer, Harriet Apolot, 3rd Vice President USSSA- Chris Banage, CEO- Patrick Okanya, President Emeritus, Beatrice Akware Lumonya, Head teacher Tororo Girls School.
“Create relationships that will take you for life.”- Dr. Kedrace encouraged athletes participating at this year’s championship where she stressed the importance of building such bonds in future.

The visit capped off with a visit to the office of Tororo Girls School headmistress which was the first ever of its kind.
