The inspection aimed to ensure that all facilities were ready to host the upcoming competitions and to confirm that all schools, along with other involved venues, met the standards required to accommodate the multitudes of participants expected at this year’s events.

The inspection team visited a range of facilities across both Tororo and Bukedea districts, including key competition venues and accommodation sites. In Ngora District, notable locations such as the Ngora High School grounds, St. Aloysius PTC grounds, and Apama Primary grounds were assessed. In Bukedea District, facilities like Bukedea Comprehensive Stadium and Township Primary School were visited, while Tororo hosted venues like King George Stadium, St. Peter’s College Playground, and Tororo Girls School playground.

Okot P. Bitek, a USSSA Executive Committee member, emphasized the inspection’s key objective: “The main aim of this second inspection was to confirm the readiness of the host schools, especially Bukedea Comprehensive and Ngora High School, in hosting multitudes of participants to ensure a smooth and successful games experience.”

The assessment also included a thorough review of the playing fields, competition venues, accommodation facilities, and security measures to guarantee the safety and comfort of both participants and officials.

With this second inspection now complete, the USSSA and MoES are confident in the readiness of the host schools and venues to deliver a memorable and competitive 2025 USSSA Games; however, they will conduct a final inspection ahead of the games.
